From above the ceiling fan the concealed Xenon cove lights can be seen. All the painting is done at this point. We just need to reoccupy the space.

The ceiling fan is finally installed. It's been parked in the foyer for the past seven months. I'm still not sure about the pole length. There are still lots of cleaning chores and a little bit of painting to do.

Jayne had earlier ordered these nice cabinet handles. I drilled 60 holes using an adjustable "Euro-Handle Drilling Jig" for the 30 handles on the closet cabinets and drawers. The jig really worked well for me.

The electrical outlets in my cabinets are for device charging. The cabinets just need their pulls and handles.

The closet island is now roughly in place. After we've lived with it for a few weeks we'll decide on a final position.

These are the spring-loaded, swing-down, wardrobe hanger rods. Clever, but will they still work when fully loaded? We'll see...

This is "the other Chris," Krzystof Boruta, owner of Kris Construction, LLC. Kris has been installing the closet cabinets, here working on the panels for the closet cabinets. He has a great set of tools, like this Festool saw and guide rail. The sawdust is really flying.

If those cabinets are not enough, she can always use these cabinets on the OTHER side of her closet. The cabinet on the right in this photo is a center island, also headed for her closet.

These Wood-Mode cabinets are delivered as little more than stained and varnished boards, panels and cabinet faces. There is a lot of cutting and assembly required. Here two of the partially-assembled units are in place.
